How to make the Tea Pot Lamp. Easy to make the teapot set into a lamp. Discard top to teapot, (Don't need. All in greenware put a small hole around the back side of the teapot for the cord. Cut out bottom of creamer and sugar bowl. Cut off knob on sugar bowl lid and make a one half inch hole for the lamp nipple. Just stack up the teapot, creamer and sugar bowl adter you have glazed them and let the glaze fire together to fuse them all together. Make sure your bottom stilt is level and the pieces are level when you put them together. "DO NOT fire the lid to the sugar bowl in the stack:. Feed the cord up through the teapot and out the top of the sugar bowl. Then wire up the sugar bowl lid. I just used lamp parts I had with a 3" nipple. 1" decorative top, the socket, harp, nuts and washers and you have it. Glue the sugar bowl lid to the stack with that good E6000 glue. This way you eliminate a rod going through the whole set and a base. If you need to ever make repairs, it is easy to remove the sugar bowl lid with the socket attached.
